My blog contains two main types of posts:
Travel Itineraries: When planning a trip to Singapore, I read several “Top 10 style” lists, consulted friends who’d been there before, and generally read as much as I could about the area. This was all helpful but I also felt inundated with information. Because no two Top 10 lists were alike, and my friends suggested different things, the amount of “must-sees,” “must-do’s,” and “must-eats” just escalated out of control. Therefore, I thought it would be helpful to simply present my travel itineraries, as they represent what a normal human being did in a finite, specified amount of time. Although my main goal for this blog is to document my travels, I don't believe you need to go far away to have an adventure. Often, we miss out on the very city we live in because we don't view it as "traveling" or "vacation." For this reason, I also document the adventures I have at home.
Travel Articles: My Travel Itineraries are intended to help others plan their own expeditions, and as such, are written to be documentary and instructive rather than entertaining. My activities are presented in list format, although I try to tell a story within the list, and also post many pretty pictures. However, for writing that's a little more personal, see my list of Travel Articles. I may write personal reflections on my journeys, stuff about photography, travel advice, or just whatever strikes my fancy.
All Writings: All itineraries and articles listed below link to blog entries, so click the "Blog" tab above for the latest writings, no matter what type it is. Happy travels!
